There’s a lot I could say about the game, the process, how it got here, and how long it took…
But I’m no good with words, so instead let’s roll with something cleaner, plain information about the game!
First: Why make this game?
I had several sources of inspiration on my mind while working on this game. The first was undoubtedly the book series it is based on. Horny Mage Academy, a series of erotic shorts on Amazon. Used with permission, of course(hard not to get permission when you’re one of the authors!).
The second was a plethora of hentai games, notably those like Violated Heroine. I wanted something different from the usual, male-focused player romancing lots of characters, with turn-based, standard RPG combat.
Next: What’s the game about?
The game itself takes place in a world much like our own, except one where magic exists. It’s not hidden or anything, and people can go to schools to learn it!
The story is set at one of those schools, a college created by a great mage so that people could learn magic without the bothers of the outside world, one often filled, like ours, with those that shun people who are different or unique.
Gameplay follows a time-based pattern. You wake up, you go to class (or skip!), you do assignments, work part-time jobs, delve into dungeons, etc. There’s a good mix of both dating-sim styled day to day management, combined with afternoon trips down the local sewers to murder slime monsters.
The game follows Olivia, a young woman who has enrolled in the college, and her journey through the school.
Naturally, this journey will include all the amenities of college life, as imagined by someone who only learned about college/school life through hentai. (or who is ignoring their past experiences in favor of such a fun idea)
Currently, there are:
- 8 Unique Classes to attend! (And Several study halls!)
- 3 unique skills! (That are complete…)
- 1 Romantic love interest! (Whose a cute female classmate to boot!)
- 2 Dungeons, 1 complete (minus rematch boss)
- A part time job!
- An afterschool club!
- And to top it off, 3 unique hentai scenes!
There’s a lot of other stuff too, like a unique crafting system, a plethora of characters to talk to, and more!
Development is certainly planned to continue as well. I didn’t spend several months twisting this engine to work with an ABS only to stop now!
I do have a general roadmap planned, mostly involving adding more classes, new characters(both male and female romance options) and storyline, jobs and clubs, a pethora of new enemies, and everyone’s favorite….
Lots and lots of new hentai scenes!
